Title: Using Algebraic Geometry in Theoretical Physics
Abstract: In this talk, I introduce the application of algebraic geometry for computations in theoretical physics. Some computational algebraic geometry ideas, like the Groebner basis, syzygies, module operation have been used in modern computation of theoretical physics, like for the analytic evaluation of multi-loop Feynman integrals and the partition function of integrable model. I will give a pedagogical introduction on how the mathematical methods can apply, and the workflow on its application in theoretical physics.
